BEES distributes food items among those in need on the occasion of Eid-ul-fitr 2024

On the occasion of Eid, Bangladesh Extension Education Services (BEES) distributed food items to 70 needy families in Dhunat Upazila of Bogra.

Bangladesh Extension Education Services (BEES) distributed these food items at the Dhunat Upazila branch office around 11 am on Tuesday.

BEES Deputy Assistant Director Shahi Machuma Akhtar presided over the discussion on the distribution of food items under BEES Social SafetyNet Programme. Dhunat Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Ashiq Khan addressed the meeting as the chief guest. Upazila Agriculture Officer Asaduzzaman, Upazila Social Service Officer Abdullah Al Kafi, Upazila Education Officer Fazlur Rahman spoke as special guests.

Dhunat Municipality Councilor Ali Azgar Mannan, BEES Sub Zonal Manager Manowar Hossain, Deputy Program Manager Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Manager Anwar Zahid and Branch Manager Sohel Rana also spoke at the meeting. After the discussion, UNO Ashiq Khan, the chief guest of the event, handed over the food items to the distressed families. Distressed family members are happy to receive food items before Eid.
