Deputy Executive Director (Operation)

Md. Mazibur Rahman is a veteran development professional who has served BEES with dedication for over four decades. Throughout his more than 40 years of service, he has played a pivotal role in guiding the organization through numerous challenges and phases of growth, contributing significantly to its institutional strength and resilience.
He is currently serving as the Deputy Executive Director (Operations) of BEES, providing overall leadership to the organization’s four core development programs—Health, Education, Agriculture, and Social Safety Net. He has professional background and track record in successfully implementing, leading, and managing integrated rural development projects/program in collaboration with donors, relevant ministries, departments of GoB and other organizations. He has experience in strategic and Result Based Management (RBM) planning, implementing, performance monitoring and evaluation system. He has expertise in conducting PRA, TNA, FINA, field survey, training program, discussion meeting, workshop, seminar etc. He has experience in preparing PCN, project proposal with budget, MoU, organizational service manual, gender policy, programmatic strategies, guidelines & directions, job description of staff, Terms of Reference (TOR), contracts and agreements, etc.
In addition to programmatic oversight, he is also responsible for supervising key administrative functions, ensuring efficient operations, and coordinated service delivery across the organization.
Renowned for his steady leadership, deep institutional knowledge, and commitment to community-centered development, Mr. Mazibur Rahman continues to be a cornerstone of BEES’s long-standing impact and sustainability. He holds an M.S.S in economics from the Asian University of Bangladesh and B.Sc Ag (Honours) from the Bangladesh Agricultural University and obtained a course on Asia Rural Service Corps (ARSC) from the Asian Institute for Rural Development (AIRD), India. He has received many awards from renowned organizations from the country & abroad for his contribution to the rural development sector.
