Khondkar Shafiq Ud Darain is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of dedicated experience at BEES. He specializes in NGO-MFI financial management, compliance, and strategic accounting, with a strong track record of ensuring financial transparency and regulatory adherence.

He has extensive expertise in financial reporting, auditing, budgeting, and cost analysis, along with in-depth knowledge of VAT, Income Tax, and statutory compliance. His role also involves managing banking relationships, preparing analytical financial reports, and coordinating with donors, auditors, and partner organizations.

Mr. Darain holds an MBA in Accounting and an M.Com. in Management. He also completed his CA course under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). His professional development includes specialized training in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), financial management, and NGO-MFI compliance.
