In the heart of Shantiganj Upazila in Sunamganj District, a spirited celebration unfolded as Bangladesh Extension Education Services (BEES) marked the 103rd birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The jubilation extended to embrace National Children’s Day, infusing the air with joy, hope, and a commitment to nurturing the future.
The vibrant day commenced with a lively rally and an engaging discussion meeting orchestrated by the dedicated educators and enthusiastic students of Chandrapur Private Primary School, a beacon of learning under BEES’ nurturing wings. As the sun cast its golden glow, minds gathered to reflect on the profound legacy of Bangabandhu and the promising potential embodied by the nation’s children. Mr. Jalal Uddin, the esteemed president of the school’s management committee, took the reins as the discussion meeting’s presider. Guiding the discourse was none other than Mr. Jahangir Alam, the Headmaster of Shivpur Private School under BEES. Their leadership set the tone for a meaningful exchange of ideas and aspirations. Adding an air of distinction, Upazila Vice Chairman Mr. Lecturer Noor Hossain graced the gathering as the chief guest. His presence infused the occasion with a sense of community and shared responsibility. In addressing the assembly, he not only celebrated the day but also extended his commitment to resolving the school’s immediate challenges, particularly those related to roads and tube wells.
The meeting resonated with the voices of community leaders and stakeholders. Mr. Dulan Rani Talukdar, the Female Vice Chairman, lent her insights, emphasizing the collaborative spirit necessary for educational development. West Pagla Union Parishad member Mr. Zafarul Haque, Mr. Nilu Kant Pal (Program Officer, Education and Social Security, BEES), and Mr. Binati, the Principal of Chandrapur Private Primary School, added their perspectives, forming a mosaic of shared aspirations. Representatives from seven private primary schools implemented by BEES, including head teachers and assistant teachers, stood united in their commitment to education’s transformative power. The meeting, attended by approximately 250 students from Inatananagar and Chandrapur schools, along with School Management Committee (SMC) members, showcased the strength of community engagement in shaping a brighter tomorrow.
As the sun set on this day of celebration, Shantiganj echoed with the harmonious voices of hope, unity, and a shared commitment to educational advancement. The 103rd birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman became a testament to the ongoing journey of shaping young minds and fostering a community that stands together for a better future.
