Bangladesh Extension Education Services (BEES) has distributed food to 100 underprivileged children on the occasion of Durga Puja in Dhunot Upazila of Bogra. This food was distributed from the BEES Dhunot branch office through a program organized under the BEES education program on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 3 pm.
Mr. A.G.M. Badshah, Mayor, Dhunot Municipality distributed food to the helpless children as the chief guest in this food distribution program. He appreciated the unique approach of BEES. He said, “I have affiliations with various NGOs but distributing food and helping the kids in need on the occasion of Durga Puja is really a rare initiative”. This is how he praised and supported BEES. However, among the event attendees, there were Mrs. Popi Rani Poddar, Upazila Vice Chairman, Dhunot Municipality, Mr. AFM Fazlul Haque, Zilla Parishad Member, Mr. Md. Salim Reza Riman, Councillor, Dhunot Municipality.
Mrs. Shahi Machuma Akhtar, Deputy Assistant Director (Education & Social Protection Programme), BEES, Mr. Sohail Rana, Branch Manager, BEES Dhunot Branch, Mr. Mozahar Ali, Manager (Health Programme), BEES and Mr. Abdul Hannan, Supervisor (Education Programme), BEES, were also present on the occasion.
